Hi Lloyd Here This will help if you would like X-Link This is how I play Splinter Cell 3 on my Xbox on X-Link Ok…first off you do need a LAN-cable to from your Xbox to your pc. Then you need to download a thing called X-Link (don’t ask where to download it…that a no...no), but you can Google it. It free software that give you some thing like a free Xbox Live for system that have chips or sofemods or even if they don’t and just would like free on-line play After that make a user name… After you have made a user name look in the upper right hand of the X-Link window you will see a pic of the world click on it …it will let you search for game rooms. For the system that you have and the game that you would like to play. (The systems that they have are PSP PS2 XBOX GAMECUBE) And when your in the game room that you would like to be in on X-Link. Click on the name of the host of the game to join the game. They might be looking for some one… so you might have to ask them be for joining there game or make your own game If you get in the game room then go to your system (I have Xbox with Splinter Cell 3) or what ever game that you are trying to play and go to LAN and the name of the Room should popup Go in and play--- . That how I do it with my Xbox for the other systems it might be a little deferent on of you connect to the other player…but it’s the same for every one on making a user name and getting the software. If you would like to add me as a friend to play with here. My user name is LloydBusetrIII---out up your’s if too would like to play with other on afterdawn.com
You should put "FOR GAMECUBE" off... that guide is for all of those consoles... and x-link is quite self explanatory... so this guide is mostly useless...
