I would like to burn a VCD format movie onto a CD-R. However, I do not want it to be replicated. Is there a software or method of to prevent the disc from being replicated.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi,

Considering the fact thet many big companies spend huge sums of money on cutting edge copy protections that always get defeated, I doubt it. Depending on the skills of who has your disc, there may be steps you can take to make it harder for someone to copy.

I believe Praetor answered this question before with some sort of method but I can't remember what it was. Hopefully he'll pick up this thread :)

Simplest and prolly most effective is to password protect the files in one (or more nested) archives -- even then, it can be replicated -- it just wont be useful without the password(s)

When u create the archive, specify a password(there is a button labeled 'password') :)
