Hi everyone, I was browsing through this forum and found a thread but when I tried to reply on it, the message appeared that older post cannot be replied, so I thought to share it by creating a new thread. I have a question that I want to share with you people so that I can get good suggestion. Basically, I was wondering if there was a way to protect files from being deleted from other users including admin but while being able to open the files... I Google it and found a software Folder Protect that protect files, folders, drives and even program from getting deleted yet allow me to open and use them. I just wanted to know if anyone has used this software.

Any suggestion? Let me show you how did I find Folder Protect

you can protect them quite simply by making them read only and even by marking them hidden if you like..... but not from admin.

You can encrypt the contents to keep admins eyes out of the actual stuff in them, but admin will usually just delete anything they can't check out, and if it's not your system and you have no agreement to use storage in this manner your user account and password will often follow suit..

There is nothing "private" from the owner of the hardware.

Thank you for your suggestion. Yeah you are right, an admin can easily delete my stuff that I have protected using Windows feature. But what I found interesting is that when i protect my files with Folder Protect software, it does not allow anyone to delete my files not even admin
