I have several books already in MP3 format, broken out by chapter. the question is how to put them on the device in a way that they are not recognized as songs (and thus not subject to shuffling). Maybe as podcasts? But the Zune software did not recognize them as podcasts. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
With a normal mp3 player that would not be a problem. You specify the order in your play list and make sure your player does not randomize the tunes in the play list. The Zune is a special case. I am convinced the software ignores the user commands and just does random sh1t. I hate the software! The only thing Zune does right is locking out third party media managers from accessing the Zune of its tunes on the computer.
