    Hi,

I make Music DVD Compilations using VideoReDo with great Results.
I load the DVD, select the Chapters I want, save Chapters as Mpeg, Join the Chapters and Author it. Great Program.

But I was trying to work with a DTS Only Concert, and VideoReDo does not work with DTS.

I am loking for a Program that extract Clips from a DVD (DTS) and also Convert to AC3 and save as Mpeg.
DVD Shrink do this, but re-author to Vob Files, and I really do not know if Vob Files are Better or worse than Mpeg files.

    Any help will be wellcome.

    Hi,

    Thank you.

The DTS Only Concerts are from Queen (All of them) (There is a 2ch option too).

    Thanks again.

The 2ch audio is most likely LPCM which is uncompressed audio.

    Hi,

    Thank you Attar, worked well.

    I have two more questions.

    1) Does Rejig convert PAL to NTSC (The Queen COncert is PAL)
    2) When Muxing, how to create Mepg files instead of DVD Files.

    Thanks again

    Hi Attar,

    Thanks Again. Great little programs!!!

But I have one more problem. VideoReDo needs the mpeg Files be in the same characteristics (720 x 480)

    How o re-size these demuxed Mpeg's ??

You can also recemend convert programs that work with muxed files too! (By the way, what are the advantages to process demuxed files??)

    Thanks

    Antonio

    I'm not familiar with Videoredo.
Try DVDPatcher on the mpeg file.
Load a copy of the muxed mpeg2 into the patch program; set 720, 480, 29.97 then play back the result and see if Videoredo is fooled.

    Hi,

    It did work.
Do I use DVDPatcher for all Conversion, or continue to use DGPulldown.

Anyway, thank you for your usefull info.

I don't know the answer to that one - I never got as deep into it as yourself.

Do note that to play on non-DTS enabled DVD players/receivers/TV's 2 channel LPCM will be provided. Also note that the LPCM soundtrack will be of the very highest quality.

    Hi,

Ok, but it is not 5.1, which for me is required.

    Thanks
