Can anyone please tell me how to take the AOMEI Backupper File I saved to my external HDD and put it on my new PC's Drive? AOMEI is an "AFI" file and I want to extract it back to my PC, I tried once on my own and it just moved it to another spot on my external. I saved my "My Documents" file which has every photo and video I've taken for the past 10 years, very precious to me. Thanks Guys, I just don't know how to use AOMEI, how to direct the path etc
Files and Folders Restore If your original files/folders are lost or damaged, with the help of AOMEI Backupper, you can use the File Restore feature to restore them to their original state at the time you backed them up into an image file. To restore files/folders: 1. In the left tab page, select Restore and select the file backup item that you want to restore from the list box. Then click Next to continue. 2. Select a point-in-time from the list box, and click the Next button. Here, Backup type, Created time and Backup description will help determine the proper point-in-time. 3. Select the files or folders that you want to restore, and click Next. 4. Select a destination path to save the files. You can choose whether to “Restore to original location” or “Restore to a new location”. You may also tick “Replace existing files” to overwrite existing files with the same name.
