This tut is for ppl who want to soft mod their xbox with (Sid 4 Installer) Ok 1st you need the following- - xbox -action replay w/ MEM. card - Original Version of, Mech Assault, 1st Splinter Cell, or Agent Under Fire First, install the Action Replay Software on your computer. Now go to Codejunkies.com and go to saves and download Sid 4 Installer, and Linux profile. Now that you have these drag them into the PC database. Now drag them to the Memory card. Next, copy the saves to your xbox hard drive. Now put in the game you are using and load up the linux profile. Now this just took you to a whole different screen. Now you need to back up your eeprom and C-Drive. Also create a MS backup and a MOD backup.(If you do not back these up, and u uninstall the softmod, Your original Microsoft Dash will be lost along with all of your saves). Ok Now that you have that backed up, go to system settings, from here you can change the color of your LED Light on the front of your xbox. Now from system settings change everything to yes except open games save folder. Now that you have done that go back to the first screen. Now go to install softmod. Now choose Dual Boot,Open=retail option. Now choose what dashboard you want. I perfer Unleashed X as my dash. Now install the softmod. After you install your softmod, go back to main menu. Now shut off your xbox. Now turn it back on using the on button. Now ur xbox had been softmodded. BTW- if you turn on your xbox by opening the tray,that will be a retail boot and your softmod will not be ingaged. Ne problems just send me a P.M
