My dad has his laptop with wireless that is connected to the same wireless router as my desktop computer is.

So, my desktop computer is connected to my router through wired connection and my dads laptop is conneceted to the router through wireless. He wants to transfer some music from my computer to his. So im asking you what's the easiest way with a PC to transfer files between network?
BTW, Im running Windows Vista Home Premium and he's runing Windows XP (portable) touch screen edition or sumthing like that.

    Thanks.

Have you networked the two computers together? If so, do you have file sharing on your network turned on? If not, then I would do that and then he will be able to see any files that you make available for him to see.

we have file sharing turned on in both computers. But to get access to my dads computer from my computer we need to enter a password. We tried to enter all the passwords we know but we couldn't find the right password. We tried for example my dads computer logon info but that wasn't it. But i already found a way to transfer. By using my dad's blackbarry as a flash drive lol.
    Thanks anyway.
