I have a plextor PX-M402U and a VCR. I have the plextor connected to my pc, the VCR connected to the Plextor by component.

Here's what I would like to do:

Transfer my home moives from VHS to DVD. I would like the highest transfer quality, that will play in my DVD player(no MPEG4, DIVX, ect.) I don't care how many disks it will take. I don't want to edit them, just rip them in there raw state. (i.e. in 30min chunks, no chapter cuts or any thing fancy)

I have nero 7 premium and plextor go cap. When I try to use nero to capture, it cuts off in the middle of recording because it senses a "drop" in signal, (the pauses in between each scene on the VHS, caused by the old style of camcorder used)

So I would like some advise on what to do. Please help me, as this project is a HUGE pain in my @$$ right now... ;-)
