i need help with this. i have two dashboards. avalaunche and evolution x. i want to completely get rid of avalaunche and use evolution x as my dashboard. i have a softmodded xbox. i need to know what files to delete from ftp to get rid of avalaunche. respectfully kingcangri
no problems.. first ftp in and look for the evox.ini file.. that tells the box which dash to boot. If it's avalaunch change it (simple edit) to point to the dash you want.. which is usually in evox.xbe or dash.xbe or something.. use avalaunch file launcher to navigate and find which precise file launches the dash you want (full path, case sensitive)... then replace the dash entry in evox.ini.. remember to save.. which will reload the file... softmods and hardmods are different in the locations.. proceed with caution if it is your main dash.. if it's just an app look for the avalaunch folder and delete it.. then remove the entry for it in the evox.ini file under "apps" or wherever it is in the dash apps listings.. Much apreciated/. thanks altho i'm afraid it's too late. i deleted the avalaunch 1.4 cheater files from my xbox that i downloaded from here http://forums.afterdawn.com/t.cfm/f-120/need_c_folder-787110/. i took matter into my own hands, not knowing that the files i deleted from the avalaunche 1.4 cheater from my xbox were important files for the xbox. i ended up fusking up my whole xbox. i had everything in there., now it's all gone. now when i turn on the xbox. it says nothing but xbox live. it doesnt read any games. i need to know if their is any other way to re- upload those files back to my xbox. because now i can't even FTP anymore. i don't want to burn a CDrw. is their a way i can SLAVE connect the xbox hard drive to my computer and copy/transfer the files? i really need help with this. this is like a living nightmare respectfully. kingcangri
