how to update firmware on nec-nd-3500a (9 DISK TOWER)

    I have a 9 dvd-r duplicator with a 60gig storage disk and 9 nd-3500a NEC drive..does anyone know how to flash the drives? This machine is a stand alone..no operating system

    Urm, I don't rly know, but could you "hook it up" - so to speak - to an OS and flash the drives?

    No it's a stand alone unit no usb port or anything..do u think if i connect one at the time on a regular computer an flash them that way? Will it work?

    FWIW, someone posed the same question here a month or two ago and we came to the same conclusion about flashing drives one-at-a-time.
