Tons of people believe that expired two months are not recoverable. This is a common misconception. There are two types of expired two months that I am aware of: 1) Expiration Date: 10/1/03-3/31/04 These two months are NOT recoverable. I repeat NOT recoverable. They are worthless! 2) Expiration Date: 08/01/04-03/31/05 These two months ARE recoverable! Just follow the steps below. a) First, switch off your softmods on your xbox, so that when your xbox boots w/out a disk it comes to the Microsoft Dash. b) Go down to the bottom of the 4 choice menu and click SETTINGS c) Choose CLOCK and drop the year back 2 years... or set it to a date between 08/01/04-03/31/05 d) Press A NOT B! saving the changes to the clock e) Now go to xbox live and choose CREATE NEW ACCOUNT f) Wait for the intital xbox live page to appear then click continue g) If done correctly a message should pop up "TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES" h) Click continue and START TROUBLESHOOTER i) Wait for all the lights to turn green and click DONE j) Finish the account process and enjoy your new account!
