I have tried most programs, and they convert them to .cda. I reallly need a program to burn my wav files and keep them as .wav format. Please help
You need to know what to choose. E.g. with Nero choose "CD-ROM (ISO)" = data CD. You can put any file type on the compilation, e.g. .wav files. BTW: Why do you want to burn .wav files? There might be better ways to get what you want for you ...
If you burn these as WAV format, they will remain as data files, and therefore not playable on a CD player, but only with a computer based media player. If you want to play the discs as music discs, they need to be CDA as this is shorthand for "CD Audio". If however, you really only need the WAV files, that will not play , then all you need to do is burn as a data disc instead of an audio disc. This way, they will stay as WAV files. Any CD writing application will do this. I assume you want to do this for archiving or backup purposes?_X_X_X_X_X_[small]www.opusproductions.com Digital Audio Specialists[/small]
Nah, i was at some forums seing how other people got their xbox's to read their disks and one guy said he burns his as wav files and the xbox reads them. I'll try data, and pray the drive reads them because i've tried everything.
