howd i enable digital optical out o nmy computer?

    anyone know how to enable it? im trying to hookmy ps3 up to my computer, i got it on my lcd screen but now im trying to get the sound through my speakers..... any help would be greatly appreciated!!

    if its not in the windows (assuming your not linux/mac) sound control panel (there is normal a tick box for 'digital output') then it may be found in the BIOS setup [F2/DEL to enter setup] that you see when you first turn the computer on.
