is the DVD X Copy software as easy as they claim it to be?
    How much? where from?

    Yes!

It is very simple 1 2 3. You do not have to ecode, decrypt, anything. I recommend it. All thes other softwares out there are painstaking and not worth sitting at your pc allday for one movie! You can download it off of Kaazaa like i did.

Ensure you download the one that has the full install, CRack and Patch!

Install DVD X Copy, Crack, then Patch in that order. What DVD Writer do you have!

Virus warning. Some of the DVDXCOPY download files on Kazaa have a virus or trojan horse attached. For instance, the 29KB crack has a TH, and the 145 KB KeyGen has a virus. There are others.

will Norton AntiVirus pick it up or the Kazza Bull lite virus stuff?

I use McAfee. I believe Norton should do the same thing.

The trojan horses are non-destructive, however, the w32/HLLP.Hantaner virus will corrupt .exe files in the download folder. This would make any downloaded software in that file useless.

Concerning Kazaa Bull Lite, many P2P files sharing programs have embedded "advertising spyware" often called viruses. You can clean these with freeware such as "spybot" and "ad aware". (I recently cleaned a P-III, and system performance went from 47% to 86%)

I have had no problems! If I do, it's easy to back up and reformat anyway!

yeah dvdxcopy works but..... you have to waste another dvd (2 dvds total) to burn a dvd!!!! And ofcourse we only like to copy just the movie , not the extra features.

IMHO, I suggest having "best of both worlds" and grabbing DVDXCopy _and_ a new toy called DVD2One. DVDXCopy suits for splitting (as there are tons of us who prefer having the extras backed up as well) while DVD2One works as a very good tool for stripping out menus & stuff in order to fit the clip to one DVD-R.

I'm up to DVDXCOPY 1.4.1 now, and still burning 2 DVD's. DVD2One sounds good. Do you have a URL? Nothing showed up on a web search.

Im having trouble installing dvdxcopy, I installed and ran gegistry file, but when I try to run the patch, I get an error saying that its missing the export file KERNELL32.DLL. Does anyone know what I have to do? I tried all I know, besides formating, thanks.
