Hi. Just installed my printer disk onto my new computer. Seemed like everything was fine till I open up my HP director to set scan settings to a higher DPI. When I click Scan settings this pops up: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
    Runtime Error!
    Program:...rogram Files\Hewlett-Packard\AiO\Shared\bin\hpOSCV07.exe
This application has reqested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's
    support team for more information.

So as it is I have an all in one G55 Office jet printer that is kinda old but I love it for scanning purposes. HP does not seem happy to help though they did point me in the right direction if I want to buy another HP. lol. Anyone out there have any ideas? Thanks!

check the hp site for a newer printer driver than what you have now installed

It sound like a windows service pack 2 error. if you are running xp with service pack 2 go to HP website and they have a patch for this error. I've witnessed similar problems.
