hi. i installed my hyperx in my 1.4 xbox and when i go to boot the light stays green on the mod and on the xbox it blinks three times of green then goes to a red and green blinking. What does this mean? Nothing appears on the screen. I used the E wire on the hyperx like it said. Thanks!

did you use the solderless adapter or did you solder?
because right now the motherboard is fragging due to a bad connection...

yes, if i remove the chip, the xbox still boots. I got the xbox to boot with the chip in it finally, but thats because i pushed down onto the chip, although it was pretty well down onto the board, and it stops working whenever i let go and does the same old thing. So then i figured to just install a pin header to the mobo and then just use the E wire again to connect the dO point and well that didnt work. The xbox just flashes the green again and nothing appears on the screen. any ideas?

what about the pin header, that wasnt working though. Do you know what would be wrong there? or would that not work with this certain chip? thanks

The pin-header is where the modchip is seated on the xbox mobo, there isnt much to screw up on with the pin-header, just line up the chip and push it on.

yea, i know that, but you need it connected to the dO and thats what i did with the one attatched to the chip already, but it doesnt work, it does what it did before. What is wrong? thanks
