howzit all? i have tried loading a theme to a friends 30GB iPod video and it seemed to have stalled when using the updater. i followed the instructions carefully on one of lethalb's threads.my notebook doesnt detect it any more.the ipod wizard says no ipod found and so does the updater. it's been stuck on the 'do not disconnect' screen for about 3 hours now. holding select and off buttons does not reset the device. please assist im concerned. great forum, too bad my first attempt at modding is painfull
Have you tried disconnecting the device? It may have already updated.. About a minute at the most, I would have thought. However, may varydepending on computer standard.
yea, tried disconnecting, that didnt resolve. i ran the battery flat and reloaded firmware after uninstalling and re-installing on my machine. k, before i try this again; how do i know what version of firmware the theme was made for? and do i have to upgrade my firmware to 1.1 before this will work? i think all is 100% up until the time i try the iPod updater
