Is this a stupid question or can i burn an small DVD image (100MB) on a CD-R and make the DVD player play it. I am not looking for solutions like vcd or svcd. if DVD-R or cd-r are just the media, the player should be just looking for some data or file structure or something else (data) to distinguish between a DVD or VCD. In this case, can i fake the data and make the dvd player think the cd-R is a DVD and start playing it. Since i am sure the DVD player know how to decode mp2s. thanks luk ??
I'm new to the DVD to DVDR tools, but the concept should be similar to the other formats. I suspect you approach it like you have to split a DVD9 onto two discs. After the conversion process, make one split before the scene, as though this were the beginning of the second disc. Then, make another split at the end of the scene.
luklau88 Yes, it is possible to burn to a CD. You should be able to get upto 15 minutes of MPEG2 quality. HomerJ
