Can someone please help me..I am new to this.
This is what i want to do...
I have avi, divx and mpeg files. I would like to
burn those files on to a DVD-R (sony) and play them
in a DVD Player both in the house and in the car.
Can someone please explain how to do this?
I have attempted to do this using Nero but the DVD player
reports that it can not play the disc.
Please start from the beginning..tell me any program you would reccomend and what I need to do.
    THank you very much.

You can try this all-in-one program I use.Its called WinAvi video converter(free trial available). If you like what it does please support the software developer by purchasing it. Convert your .avi, divx, and mpeg files separately using WinAvi. Open DVD shrink and click on the re-author button on top and load each video_ts file(the file you end up with after converting your .avi, mpeg, divx files)on to it. Create an .iso file which you will later burn with Nero.
