    Hello,
I have been surfing this site ad many others but I am hoping you could maybe help me. I have a dvd player(connected to my tv) by "Classic". My mom bought it 2 years ago. It was working fine until 2 weeks ago when it started to not read dvd's. It will play cd's but when it starts to load a dvd it sounds like it is turninf the dvd then stops then starts again then the screen says "No Disc".. do you know what might be happening?
    -Thank You-

Is it only happening on certain disks, if so, it could be the disks that are at fault.
If it's happening on any disks it sounds like the dvd player has a fault with the reader, possible sotfware fault or dirty lens.

    They need maintenance.
They req calibration (and a good cleaning-out) from time to time.
There are lots of plastic parts inside, less $ than metal but not as close tolerances :-(
The DVD tracking, alignment and focus are very exacting tolerances.
It is amazing that any inexpensive machine, even when not bumped/bashed or treated roughly, will still play DVDs after many hours of use.
Remove the cover and inspect (and vacuum).
Other than that, the unit will require recalibration.
    Regards
