arrgghhhhhh im stuck and need your guys advice..im aware to play avi on normal dvd players you need to convert avi files to dvd vob files etc etc which i have been doing for ages. Now as i download a hell of a lot of movies and majority of them are avi, and realising they are smaller then dvd vob files i thought i buy this AVI DIVX and MPEG4 Compatible Player expecting this

    (a) never having to convert avi to dvd ever again
    (b) fitting quite a few avi files (like 3-4 films) on to the dvd and be able to watch them on me tv with my new avi player..(maybe this is high expectations??)

Now my problems is while my new avi player is coming thru the post i thought i see how i would go about burning my avi files on to dvd....and its a nightmare nearly all the burners ive downloaded convert the avi files in to dvd vob files and basically they become huge and fill up my dvd with just one film and im really dissapointed

I need help i want to be able to burn my avi files on to a dvd without conversion and possibly a nice little menu to appear when they are played....and from reading previous forum post on this which are going right over my head i possibly need noobie step by step instuctions...and yes im aware this is a novel but im in a very ranting mood after 3 hours trying to figure it out...please help me :)

I can't help with adding a menu to them - there's probably a way - I just never looking into it.

What burning software do you have? If you have Nero you just use Burning Rom or Express - data dvd option and add your files.

Or you can use ImgBurn. Go to mode then pick build. You can add the files to burn.
