I followed the guide and manual that came with it, but whenever I connect it to my pc, it shows that the video capture part has been installed, but the DVD drive cannot find a driver ... so I cant use it because my pc does not recognize it.

Please is there something else I need to do, because I am running out of ideas and planning to return it.

    Thanks.

What software are you trying to use with the VRD-VC20? What operating system are you running? If you are running XP or maybe even 2000 it should see the drive automatically and set it up as a regular CD/DVD drive. The only downside is that the Nero software that comes bundled with it only recognizes Sony drives. I have one of these drives and it is great, once you figure out all the kinks. Make sure you have installed all software that comes bundled with the drive on the included CD. Also, there are numerous updates for the Nero software that you should install for better compatibility. Go to http://www.nero.com/en/Sony.html to get the updates.
