    Hi Pam,

not used xcopy for ages...does it say which drivers are causing the problem?

Try installing some new aspi drivers, I think forceaspi is in the download section.

    Hope it helps.

pamschams: There is a program called '123 Copy DVD' and another DVDXCopy by 321 Studios. Which program are you trying to use?

Go to programs/321 studios/DVDXcopy/driveselect.exe. See if you can run it from there. I don't have DVDXCopy on my computer any longer. It is something like that. Note: if you do a Google search for 'run drive selector', you will get a lot of hits. Your problem is very common. The solution should be easy.

Open XCopy, select settings.. highlight your burner.

Just re-install XCopy... You don't even have to uninstall it will just write over the previous program.

The solution is fairly simple, Pam.

The program can NOT identify your DVD Burner. There's a short program in the 321 Program Folder which will run the "Drive Select" for you, but when it doesn't do it automatically, your best bet is to "Re-install" the entire program again. Do NOT un-install the one that is already on your system, just re-install the program over top of the one you have. 321 studios has designed their X-Copy programs to retain a backup copy within the folder, so all it will do is MOVE your current program to a backup folder and then install the new files.

If you still have problems, and you can't find the program "drive select" in the 321 program folder, then you have a BAD program disk, or just a bad down load. Keep in mind that you MUST have a DVD burner installed on your system for the program to work at all....
