ok, i just downloaded this video and when i first opened it, it opened in Windows Media player. so the video starts playing but i couldnt hear anything. so i downloaded another media player hoping that there was something wrong with windows media player. but when i played it in that player, there was also no sound. Whats going on? im not exactly sure what the file type is because when i right clicked it and went to properties, beside "file type" it just said video clip. (i THINK it might be avi, but again im not sure) could somebody please help me with this problem. Its happened to me millions of times before, but i always forget what i did.

    Thanks!

If everything else plays with sound then i would say that you do not have the Codec to play that file. Looks around for some codec packs for windows and it may solve the problem.

try and find a pack that has a lot of them, and if it is AVI you most likely need a DivX Codec pack.
