I cant play Xvid files on my Intel mac

    Any suggestions? I got a movie folder and inside are files with the extensions
    .r00, .r01, .r02 etc. The main folder says its an XVID movie but the files in the folders have those extensions. Any idea how to play them? Thanks.

    Those are rar files. You need to extract them first. This should give you an avi.

    Not sure what tools are available under OSX for unraring. I guess the usual *nix tools? Along with probably some nice GUI's.
