oh no I got a (finally) 715 meg LOTR two towers avi file from Kazaa and it won't run properly!! Someone help me... I run it on Windows MEdia Player, and it says 'unable to download decompressor' and runs, no vid, just sound! it's like torture, I can recognise the two towers sounds, there's no vid! What do I do? I've tried getting the latest version of WMP (9.0) and also tried some divx codec downloads... it still don't work. I tried to open it with Divx alpha player, which played all the things I previously couldn't play on WMP, but that didn't work either... what do I do???
Uh, actually, don't worry... I got a Xvid Decoder and it works splendidly... Sorry for posting in the wrong place in the forum too, this shoulda been in problems... I was just a bit panicked, I thought I'd painstakingly downloaded 700mbs in vain! Thanks anyway!!! It's so comforting knowing there's a site like this to turn to when I'm desperate!
