I tried to run dvd decripter, 1clickdvdcopy (wasted my money), dvdidle Pro5, anydvd, and none of them worked, I read one of your answers in this forums and tried to download the 30-day free version of nero, using Recode2 as suggested, then ran Nero Recode 2 CE, selected: Recode Main Movie to Nero Digital, imported DVD (VIDEO_TS), target DVD-5 (my PC uses DVD+R), maximum speed, High Definition TV, burn. It took more than 5 hrs to complete with NO errors, but... the copied disc was created in MPEG-4 by this Nero, and I could not play it by WinDVD, winplayer, Real, or Quick Time from my PC, or directly from a DVD player. Did I perform the backup correctly? If so, is there a way to make use of this backup disc? Thank you very much.
what are your pc stats? An mpeg4 converted file wont play in an ordinary dvd player.Try using vso divx to dvd to convert it to the proper format (mpeg2) then burn it using recode.Heres a link to a free version.
