i deleted a file..then emptied my recyling bin. can i get it back?

    i dleted a file by accident that i needed and emptied my recyling bin, is there a free* way of getting it back?

    If it was on C partition you will need to remove the drive from the computer & place it in an external housing or in another comp as a slave & install recuva or pandora recovery (both are free) to that computer so as not to overwrite the deleted file,if it was deleted from a partition other than C (you have more than one partition on that drive & file was deleted from D partition or whatever that partition drive letter is then you can install those programs to C)the only other way if you don't have access to another comp is to use a linux live data recovery cd,the other option is to unhide all files & extensions including protected files & look inside the recycle bin there will be a folder that looks something like this 123457990887 or some other such long name
