Yeah I have about a 4 mb connection but for road runner it costs me $50 a month :(

But hey from my experience the isp isn't as cheap(as in stingy with the bandwidth) when you pay the real deal. This is great because cheap isp's send anti-p2p invoices to reserve their resources.

I could have got road runner light for $20 but nah...I want the gaming, speed, and added privacy to get what I want from p2p apps ,which in the end it actually cheap heh heh heh.:)

    *edit* stingy added lol

I have Road Runner. My speeds are:
    7727 kbps download
    479 kbps upload
My only complaint is the down time we have.........way too much!

I've got cox cable and so many on the line that rarely gets above 2500K or 500Kup. It was checked and said I had good connection number. Yeah their numbers. I hate cox cable, internet and TV. Right now doing 1617K and 425K

    @ garmoon,

I have COX cable, internet, tv and phone. I have rarely any down time and I posted earlier what my up and down speeds were. I know COX has two different internet options, maybe you got the lower internet speed option.

    the most important number is
the Upload Speed:like for sending e-mail

    example ===>352 kbps===(44 KB/sec transfer rate)

as for the download speed it is dependent on the download server
your downloading from.so what that means no matter how high ye dowload speed is.........does not mean beans....

if you wanna know your exact up or down divide by 8

    example:

    6954/8= 869kb/s down ..... 496/8= 62kb/s up

16 MB SKY Broadband & 1MB NTL (2 Connections in my house)

    £10 a month for Sky...Beat that!

Its cheap as I've got a Sky Digital Subscription and have had so for over seven years.

I've been on the £50 a month package all the time, they've had a lot of cash off me, and still they won't change my old digi box!

BB's Service is as bad as the TV's, though the products themslves cannot be beatn, you can try to, but you won't, esp for the price.
