Burned avi data files to disc. 10 movie clips that play fine with WMP 11 but on disc, all the skin tones are blue. WTF? I have never had this happen.
Ok I just played said disc in my computer with WMP and it's fine. So something up with my dvd player maybe? Adjusted dvd player but still have blue tinted skin and background.
And quite the lady you are at that. Now, have any answers? We're talkin' Sopranos here. The entire 6 season collection. You have you any idea what it's like to see Tony blue? It ain't right.
Can you play other Avi clips okay with that player? Does that happen only when using the DVD player I am assuming. Is your DVD player connected using composite or component cables? Probably one of the cables is bad or not connected properly.
So it's to do with the chroma decoder phasing .. probably wrong region or odd codec settings. Are there any Hanover bars or vertical blinds present in the blue tinted areas? Have a look at the files with g-spot and compare them with ones which don't show the symptom blinded with science by a tv engineer
How do I correct this? Everything that should be red is blue. I just burned the avi files to disc with Nero. I didn't convert to dvd files. I have no idea what Hanover bars or blinds are but no, I don't think so. It's really strange. I have never had this happen before. The funny thing is everything is fine when played on computer.
It seems that you might have to re-encode the AVIs. http://forum.doom9.org/archive/index.php/t-81833.html
Yeah the red and blue are reversed. But since I have no idea how to re-encode guess I'll live with it. Thanks.
