Hey guys. I have a recently soft modded XBox. I'd like to know what is some of the must have junk to put on the system now. My computer is in another room, so I won't be streaming anything to my Xbox or playing anything online either. I don't think that I want to keep some space open to save an Xbox game on the hard drive since I have enough games that I own already that I eventually still would like to get around and play. I like point and click adventure games like Maniac Mansion and games that can be played with other friends and family offline. So does anyone have some really good suggestions on what I should be looking for next? Thanks. )
Well, the first thing i would do is get an auto installer disc, Slayer 2.7 is one of the best. This will have a ton of applications, different dashboards, emulators and ROMs and so on that can be installed from one easy step. With a computer in the other room it is still possible to play online games, all you would need is a wireless router and wireless gaming adapter. Setting up a connection is a needed thing or you will not be able to update your dashboards or applications on the Xbox. Advanture games are really not my thing but from your description you may like the series of games called Myst. There are a ton of RPG games out there that you may like but the best way is to go to an online store like EBgames and look under Role Playing or Statagy catagories and read about them, then go to IGN.com and look them up there for more reviews and ratings on it.
