I have a question about things like Slayers AutoInstaller and xavier autoinstaller....!

i knwo that for evo-x and whatnot you have to burn the image...but for the autoinstallers do the need to be in image format? or can i just put files in and burn the CD AS AN ISO but not the .iso image..so hwta im trying to say is that when u burn somethigns for the xbox there in *.iso format...can i burn the autoinstaller (slayer) as just the files and not in *.iso format but burn the cd when i select it fomr the menu as cd(iso)?

 

I do believe that you need to make and .iso of the files (Craxtion, GDFImage, Simple iso)that you want and then burn the image to your media. You could also burn just the files of the iso and do it as a UDF (data cd) for a data cd you need to have that xbox compatibility box checked.

 

Once you extract the Auto Installer it should already be a .iso file, unless you extracted the iso for some reason.

I believe the autoinstaller should already be in the xbox image format, although mine didnt work (xavier) what I had to do was use craxtion to extract it, then re created the xiso, was weird I know, but it was the only way I could get it to work
