I unlocked a nokia. It was for t-mobile. Now I put a cingular chip in. Here's my delema. Anything internet related goes through "T-ZONES". Picture messaging, im, internet, downloads... My friend whom I got the phone from deleted EVERYTHING... All the themes, backgrounds, games, ringtones... SO. I can't go on the internet at all because I'm not subscribed to T-ZONES' GPRS... What is cingulars server adress, username, login, proxy, ect... Or is there somewhere I can update software?
T-Zones is locked into the phone and the only way to remove it is to have the phone flashed. If it were Cingular or AT&T or someone else, you could have the settings sent but T-Zones has a special lock and no code can remove it. www.iulock.com can explain it to you better.
Flashing will remove carrier software, T-Zones, Media Net ect. It puts the phone to an original state just like it was just made at Nokia.
