I have my burned DVD of home video...now how do i get the info off it???

    I just burned my vhs onto dvd as back up now, i want to use some of the video in video production projects i do..

    HOw do u import the info on the dvd into projects your doing

    You can use DVD Decrypter to rip the files to your hard disc for use in other video editing programs.
    Make sure that you use stream processing to ensure that your DVD is not exported as VOB files, as this would greatly limit the options of what video editing software will accept the output.

    thank you very much. i went to the computer store yesterday and talked to some one. now i have another question

    I burned my video onto idvd on my mac...it plays in my home dvd player.
    HOw do i extract video from that???? thank u! im sure ill need some expensive program lol

    ohhhhhh!!! you're using a mac. we all use pc's and you need to go to the mac forum (dvd ripping with mac) on afterdawn. I am not much help with mac's and most everybody on these forums and the software refers to pc's.
