MAN! I Absolutly can not flash my BIOS! I have tried and tried. I have put in my PCs DVD rom to see if it will read it, used different programs, I read the tutorial 4 times! I dont know where I am going wrong! 1st off, when I start my XBOX, the boot up screen (the blue one) is all streched out, therefore, some of the words are cut off, and other things like that.. Anyone know what I may be doing wrong!? I am racking my braing tring to figure this out FatTortoise: thats what you sould put _X_X_X_X_X_[small]
I must have went through about 10-15 CD-RWs before I finally got it down. What kind of DVD drive do you have? You must burn it as a 'ISO 9660' or Non-Joilet (Something like that)
try it this way, its a bit unorthodox, but works 2 dummy files and your bios burned to a disc (dvd or a readable cd) aaa.zip (zipped 60mb dummy) BIOS.BIN (bios 512 or 1024 in size for x2) zzz.zip zipped 60mb dummy) Ive used that method for a while, and all the drives I tried the disc have read it (thompson, philips, sammy)
