I just bought it, i have no idea on how to play homebrews and roms on it. Please give me some suggestions. Thank you very much
You will need a FlashCard, I'd recommend the R4DS or the M3 Simply, they are almost completely identical though R4's Firmware updates typically come out a few days before the M3's. I'd recommend getting the R4 from DealExtreme. (May as well put a referral link in there ) About 41 USD currently, but the price is known to fluctuate a bit. You'll also need a MicroSD card, I'd recommend either Sandisk or Kingston 2GB, both are about 20-30 USD depending on where you get them, the R4/M3 comes with a MicroSD reader. For Firmware updates, Here for R4 and Here for M3, just drag all the files onto the MicroSD, then put your ROMs/Homebrew anywhere on your card (Aside from the Firmware directory's, of course). For Homebrew: Here, Here and Here. For ROMs I'd recommend 1rom.net, Frozen-roms.net, Ds.rom-news.org, G-masters.com, Emuwizards.com and Dgemu.com If you want to play GBA ROMs you'll need either a Slot-2 Card or an EZ Flash 3-1, I'd recommend the latter, though you'll need a homebrew program to use the GBA functionality if you have an R4/M3. Have fun!
1. decide which cartridge thing you want to use to play home brew games (preferably top ones are m3 simply,r4, G6). 2.find a place that sells it (online only). ive only used dealextreme.com havent had any experience in other places, but there are others that also sell them. when you recieve it, they shuold send you a set of instructions 3.fine some websites that upload nds roms that you can download. 4. upload it to your roms to the micro sd (you can buy together or separate from the game cartridge) via usb micro sd adapter. and thats it pretty much.
hello everyone, i have a question that i beleive you can answer. what kind of usb cable does the ds need and where can i find it? btw, thanks for both of your explanations. they were clear and simple.
