The only Freeware Mpeg-2 editors I know of are all I Frame Editors which means they will only allow you to Make Cuts on I Frames so the Cutting is not on a Frame accurate Basis...also the Only editors I know of Most do not Support Joining of Files only Cutting....

These are the Mpeg-2 editors i know of ...

    [bold]Cuttermaran[/bold]

(Will only support Mpeg-2 elementary Streams so you Must Demux your Mpeg-2 files first)

    [bold]Chopper XP[/bold]

    [bold]Mpeg2Cut[/bold]

You can also use the "Mpeg Tools" in Tmpgenc to do some Basic Editing of Mpeg files.....

If you need to do extensive editing of Mpeg files you might want to consider Investing in a Real frame accurate Mpeg editor like "Womble Mpeg2VCR" or "Womble Mpeg Video Wizard 2005"....

    Cheers

You should be able to Find those Freeware editors On this Site in the Software section or if you do a Google search....
