I recently bought a laptop with vista. I am used to using xp and I was running nero 7 on it. I now have vista and can't seem to get it to work on here. Does anyone have any suggestions.
Versions of Nero...AFTER 7.5.9.0 are Nero compatible...try updating to 7.10.1.0 from here http://www.filehippo.com/download_nero_7_premium/?2893
Hello folks been away from here for a while. I just got a new desktop and of course it's a Vista OS. I have an external burner that came with a Nero6 OEm disc . I like that version the download page says Nero version 6 works on Vista but I see you have recommended 7.5.9.0 or higher for the Vista Os . My question is will my OEM serial number work for this or am I going to have to buy a license for it? I don't like the software that came on the computer and have removed most of it anyway.
I've activated nero 6.0 on both my comps using the one licence even tho i have two copies,i've also activated quite a few times after reformat etc i have to assume there's no limit on the amount of times your allowed to activate before a reset is needed like xp etc,come to think of it once the key is entered it does'nt require to phone home so yeah it should'nt be an issue,tho in reality you should remove nero from your old comp if you really want to keep it on the straight & narrow
