I have a panasonic dvd recorder and have no idea how to back up an xbox game. Do I put the game in the xbox, press play and record it with the dvdr? I do not have a dvd burner with my computer. I read about software but I can't put software in my dvdr. Could someone please start me in the right direction. thanks.
If I read you correctly you have a stand alone dvd recorder not a dvd recorder in your pc. It the dvd recorder in PC that the software you read about refers to. AFAIK you cannot backup or copy an xbox game in a stand alone dvd recorder as the xbox game will be a different format and have copy protection. You can copy tv programs and maybe DVD movies but not game disks.
