    Thanx nrautava for ur reply...

what i meant is how can i make a bootable cd for independent of any system?

i need a utilities bootable cd that can help me to make maintenance to my computer and other computers...

i wanna have on it the following programs:

    1)Dos
    2)partition magic
    3)antivirus
    4)harddisk tools (check, defrag, repair)

i found one called hiren's bootable cd but it doesnt boot with me at all...

the data is written on the cd but it doesnt boot..

ps: there are two results from my tries with this cd..
    1) the cd has two files only on it and they are with the extension .bin.
    2) the cd has a folder inside it, inside this folder there are many files ending with the .uha extension.

what should bootable cd extensions has inside?

    - U can`t. So u have to do many (to every system) cd`s.

U said iso and after that cue/bin so what it is?
And those are images, and u can use them only as "burn image" (nero, alcohol) or that u "mount" them (with alcohol).

I have no idea. But as something to sat:
I think that u have to get DOS thee. So it can open. and there u can open other files and that dipens abut system that pc have...
So u are asking too hard guestions... :(

VMWare is a pc virtualization program with which u can boot another operating system into the current operating system...

im running windows xp and using windows millenium and linux through VMWare...

its very powerfull, and designed for developers who want to make many tasks through many operating systems...

try it u will like it very much if u use many operating systems..

anyway this cd when i run the virtual pc it booted good..

but how can i make it boot on the real not virtual pc!!!
