    Okay, here is the problem, earlier today i was copying "Alexander", "Guess Who" and "XXX: State Of The Union", now Alexander and Guess Who went fine on CloneDVD, and i tried to do XXX: SOTU, but it would not go, so i tried it on DVD Decrypter and It would write to 55% then quit. I also tried it on DVD Shrink after DVD Decrypter Read it, but when analyzing it on Shrink it would only go up to 14% then quit. If anybody could help me with that, i would be most appreciative. Another problem that i have is now if i want to try to copy a movie on CloneDVD right when i click "GO" to copy it, it gives me a messgae that reads, "Not enough free space for temporary video files at C:/CloneDVDTemp/VIDEO_TS; required: 4.32 GB, available: 989 MB" it pops up on every movie now. if someone can please help me, like i said i would be most appreciative, thanks a lot.

    "required: 4.32 GB, available: 989 MB"
    maybe there is not enough space on the hdd. Try deleting a few things to give it 4.32 gigs of space then shout back if there still is a prob
    :)

    thanks a lot i deleted a few things and the problem is solved, Clone DVD works perfectly. now the other problem i have is copying XXX, now i don't want to get a new program like DVD Fab, i want to use DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink, but is it possible to go through a sort of step by step how to process you can lead me through to get it copied. if u can help me that would be great, thanks a lot.

    i would reccommend that you use fab or another program to rip the disk. Decryptor is getting old and is not being updated thus...newer protections are not supported.
    Why exactly do you not want to use other programs? From what i have heard Fabdvd or Anydvd are the leaders in the field, so why not use the most up-to-date programs available?

    @Chris88

    If you are using CloneDVD are you using AnyDVD with it? You will use less space using this combo then you will with Decrypter and Shrink, because Decrypter has to rip to the hard drive and then Shrink will encode and make another file which will give you two files. This is better if you are pressed for space.

    As for Decrypter I just used to rip XXX with no problem, it is still working and handling the encryptions. Just rip in file mode and then proceed with Shrink as usual.

    there is no difference arnie as clone still requires to use a temp directory on your hard drive to store the file, but once the burn is done it automatically either store on your HD or deletes.(hopefully that made sense)

    I guess I am looking at it that if you rip with Decrypter you have your ripped file, then when you open Shrink and encodes it makes another file i.e you now have two files. If you use Clone yes it makes one temp file that is deleted upon burn. Even if you use Shrink alone you only will get one file, but using Decrypter you will get two and thus be using more space. Am I wrong?

    @IHoe

    Believe me I am wrong a many times, that is what so great about the forums. Everyone adds something to others posts and in the process we all learn from each other :)

    @andmerr

    I will go back and ponder on this problem :)
