Ok! Here's my problem... I downloaded a movie from internet a couple of days ago and i installed the latest update of Real One Player because i need it.But when i want to play the movie with any of the video players on my computer i can see the film but i don't hear nothing. And then a message shows up and tells me that my computer doesn't have an appropriate audio codec to play the file. Then i saw from the site where i downloaded the movie that the audio sound which the movie haves(of course from this site only)is DTS 5.1-48000Hz 755kb/s So please help me solve the problem!

I use VLC Media Player to play all my videos. Haven't had a problem with it yet. Here's the offical site = http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

Download the player and see if it works for the film your trying to watch

    Learn about DTS:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_Theatre_System

To play that file you would need a DTS filter. Since this is an A-Typical situation, does the web site offer any links to any such filters? I would like to have a free DTS filter!

If they don't, that ok since most things that have DTS audio streams also have AC3 streams. Try installing this filter:

    http://ac3filter.sourceforge.net/

What website did you download the video from?
