I got Sony DVD-RW DW-U10A 1.1c and I searched everywhere for the batch file which will convert it into DRU500A but all the links I found were dead or they don't exsit anymore so plz can anyone help me and send me the batch or the program or even a good link for it I will be very thankful. If so I doubt you will see much improvement from one to the other because both are still old and dated. Might just be time for a new drive.
Thank you so much Locoeng for your help, I installed the firmware then I followed the instruction to update it from Sony website, I have now DRU-500A-2.1a, And now will test it to see if there is any real difference. Thanks again and thanks for the email notice. Good luck
