    i need help plzzzzzzzzzzzz!!!how do i know if my Avi movie is a widescreen or a fullscreen movie???

    View it in windows media player and see if its more of a square than a rectangle.

    Probably not the best way but it works. Open your file in GSpot to obtain the resolution. Use this resolution calculator:http://www.tomzavodny.cz/program/bitcalc/index_en.php, input source resolution (at 8 on right side) select target resolution (ntsc, pal)and dvd = (480/ 576). This will show a 4.3 resolution (fullscreen) and multiply by 1.33 for 16.9. I use it to calculate the AR to use in MainConcept but I don't see why it wouldn't work for any purpose.
