I need help with CPU

    My computer is an

    Acer Aspire 5532
    Operating System:Windows 7 Home Premium
    CPU:AMD Athlon Processor TF-20 (GHz 1.6 or MHz 1600)
    CPU Socket:S1G1
    GPU:ATI Radeon HD3200 Graphics up to 1408 HyperMemory
    RAM:3GB
    HDD:160GB


    I what to install a faster CPU I wanted to know what's the highest processor I can get?

    Since it's a laptop, your best bet if you want faster performance is to get a ssd hard drive.
    That is the bottleneck on laptops. If you did get a faster cpu and somehow where able to install it, it would only decrease your battery life and not really improve your performance since the hard drive would still be the slowest part in your computer.

    Go to youtube and type in x-25 ssd, you get an idea of what kind of speed increase you can get. They are more expensive but they are the only way to increase your boot times and file access on a laptop.

    moved to correct forum as not a windows issue. why do you want to install a faster cpu? how much ram is assigned to the onboard video?

    I what to install a new cpu so i can play Devil may cry 4 on my laptop.
    The video card has 500 MHz speed.
    How do i find how much ram is assigned to the onboard video?
    I have the aida32 program also

    i think the problem is not the cpu speed but the onboard videocard.
