ok well here is what I have. I've installed the x3 chip on the my 1.6b xbox. I've flashed x3 with new bios, and was about to burn the slayers auto installer. While I was burning it on my pc, I had the xbox on and was on the x3 bios or i think it was settings. My neighbor came in, and sat on the couch where I had the xbox controller(he sat on the controller), next thing you know the screen gets a whole bunch of lines and reboots. After reooboting it showed the same lines like if it were out of tune. I took out the x3 from the xbox, and turned it on, and I got the same out of tune lines. These lines look like if u had your tv on and when you get a channel that doesnt work and you get a loud annoying sound, but only on the xbox I get the regular boot sounds and I can kind of see the image but the moving lines wont let me see it all. I will try posting pix of what I'm talking about later on today. If anyone can help me out, that would be great.

hey you can hold the power+eject button and it will boot to your back-up 256k bios from there you can reflash your bios and everything should go back to normal....

Hey well after I re-installed the X3 chip, it wouldn't turn on. I would get flashing light on the xbox and the chip would only flash once then would turn off. Well I got rid of the xbox, I gave it away, since you've been helping me out, I was wondering if you wanted the X3 chip. I am not going to need it, And I don't want to throw it away. Let me know on that.
