So about a month ago I got two new hard drives 120gs and they are great but I needed to install lost of my programs and Premiere was one of them, I thought okay well now Premiere 7 is out ill just put that on, well I finally got a copy and my computer wouldn't run it. It said that I don't have a sse instruction set, in my proseser, so I had to go back to 6.5 but! 6.5 is so old that's no one has a copy of , there's' like 3 good ones on bit torrent but they all don't work lime wire wont work, kazaa are all fakes. Iv looked at other programs like avid and stuff but it just isn't working for me. I really liked 6.5 alot, if anyone can help me it would mean the world to me! thanks
Well Premier Pro will only work on a PC that has a SSE Enabled CPU Like a P-4 or an Athlon XP (Not the Older ones nor the Durons).. And if you don"t have one of these CPU"s then you coupln"t run it anyways because a CPU that old will be Far to slow.... If you are asking were you can download Premier 6.5 then I suggest you read the Rules of this Forum and then Get out your Pocket Book and Fork out some Cash to Buy it...Or Hell Invest the $50 to $100 and get yourself a CPU that supports SSE...For about $100 you can get an "AMD Sempron 3000+" CPU that will work on most socket A Motherboards that support the 333mhz FSB......Or for about $150 you can get a New Motherboard and an Athlon XP 2900+ CPU which would Upgrade your PC quite a Bit so you can do Video Editing ....
