My ex-wife left her laptop I figured I take over it so I figured I use it. I tried to format the HD but it wont work with XP disc. even after I press any key? I tried going into the bios to switch from hD boot 1st to CD boot 1st but every time I try to enter Bios it asks for a Admin password. I called Her and asked her for it but she says she can't remember ( of doesn't want to) any help is very appreciated.

Your best bet is to call the laptop company (help support) and they will help guide you how to reset your BIOS. SORRY and GOOD LUCK
