to make a dvd rom, you have to have a disc press and all the materials required there in to stamp your own discs.

however, if you have a dvd burner capable of booktyping, you can booktype a dvd+r disc when it burns so that drives reading it will see it as a dvd-rom, and not a +r disc.

what model burner do you have?

    *edit*
also, we have a rule on here about no pimping your own site. so please, either ditch the link in your sig or get a mod's approval, ASAP.

assuming you have nero 6 (should work for 7, too, i think):

    1. This tutorial assumes that you have a working ISO to burn
    2. Put in a Blank DVD+R or DVD+RW Disk into your DVD Burner
    3. Open up the Nero SmartStart
    4. Click "Cancel" button to close out the "New Compilation" window when it pops up
    5. Click on "Recorder" > "Choose Recorder".
    6. Select your DVD Burner
    7. Then click on "Options", then on "Book Type Settings", set to "Automatic" and click "OK"
    8. Now whenever you use Nero to burn DVD+R Media, it will automatically change the BookType or BitSet it to DVD-ROM

your sig still needs to change.
